Whether your concern is storing information safely or simply avoiding PCI compliance fines, we’re here to help:
Fraud has increased greatly over the last 10 years and so have PCI compliance fines. In 2003 it was legal to store full credit card numbers on receipts. Today you can’t even have an expiration date. Visa, MasterCard and the associations are mandating PCI surveys to makes sure small businesses are storing card holder information safely. That’s why we created the customer vault. The vault automatically “tokenizes” all transaction data and stores it “under lock and key”. It puts the burden of PCI compliance on Easy Pay Direct – not you. Never worry about fraud again when you use the Customer Vault.
Why should I use the Customer Vault?
Merchants who utilize the Customer Vault can process transactions and maintain an up-to- date customer database without storing any customer payment details. All sensitive customer data was transmitted through encrypted channels and authorizations, captures, refunds, and settlements were managed remotely without storing any cardholder data locally. This gives the merchant unparalleled application flexibility while shifting its liability of PCI compliance.
The Customer Vault can store both credit card and electronic check payment details. Access to the Customer Vault is granted through a secure online interface. The interface specification is described by an API (Advanced Programmers Interface) Integration Manual which is sent by request to the project manager. The Customer Vault and Payment Gateway interface has been Level 1 PCI compliant since 2004.
