What is customer lifetime value and how does LTV.IQ calculate it?
Customer lifetime value is the total revenue a single customer generates across every purchase they make from your store. LTV.IQ calculates it from your real order history using purchase frequency, average order value, recency, and repeat behavior by cohort. The result is a per-customer LTV number plus segment-level LTV across your full customer base.
What data do I need to upload to run LTV.IQ?
A CSV of your order history that includes customer email, order date, and order total. Line item data such as product names or SKUs is optional and unlocks product level insights. Shopify order exports work out of the box. Most ecommerce platforms and CRMs let you export the same fields.
Is my customer data secure when I upload a CSV?
Your CSV is used only to run your LTV analysis. Uploads are processed in the LTV.IQ app environment and are not shared with third parties. If you have strict data policies, run the analysis on a sample first or anonymize customer emails before upload.
