How to Search for a Specific Transaction

The Easy Pay Direct Gateway gives you several ways to quickly find a specific transaction, whether you have an exact ID or only partial details.

Quick Search

From any page in the Gateway, use the search bar at the top of the screen.

You can search by:

  • Transaction ID
  • Order ID
  • Customer last name
  • Full card number or last four digits

This search returns results from the past 90 days and is the fastest way to locate a known transaction.

Use Date Filters to Narrow Results

  • The date range defaults to the current month

  • You can:

    • Enter custom dates manually

    • Use the calendar picker

    • Select quick options like today, this week, last 30 days, or last 365 days

View Transaction Details

  • Click the Transaction ID in the results list to open the transaction detail page

  • From there, you can:

    • View full transaction information and history
    • Void or refund the transaction (if applicable)
    • Print or email a receipt
    • Add the customer to the Customer Vault
    • Create a recurring subscription

Helpful Tip

If you only have partial information, start with:

  • Last four digits of the card number

  • Customer last name

  • A narrow date range

You can then refine the search further as needed.

Searching transactions through the Reports section gives you the most control, while the global search bar is ideal for quick lookups when you already know what you are looking for.
